All parties want the automobile fixed and driving like new. To the consumer – the automobile is a lifeline that he/she cannot do without. To the manufacturer and dealer, a well operating automobile means customer satisfaction.

But sometimes, the repair shop cannot always fix the problem on the first, second or even third or fourth try. At that point, the consumer can sue under California’s Lemon Law and/or federal warranty law. But lawsuits take time and money and a jury may not always be convinced that the automobile is indeed a “lemon.” In the end, the consumer may not obtain satisfaction and be forced to drive what he/she believes to be a reliable automobile.
